About the Director
Raqeebah Zaman, is a lens-based and mixed-media artist born in Guyana, South America. She studied Film and Cinema Studies at the University of Central Florida. She has had her mixed-media, photographic, and film work displayed at the King Manor Museum in New York, the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Center in Maryland, and the Third Horizon Film Festival in Miami, Florida. She has also been a grant recipient of Kodak, Panavision, and the Queens Art Fund. She is currently based in Little Guyana, Queens, NY, where she spent the majority of her childhood.
