Synopsis

A journey home turns to terror as Ally becomes the target of the evil Kanaima, an ancient spirit that preys on the souls of women and possesses men from the darkest parts of their hearts.

Kaiel Eytle

About the Director

Kaiel Eytle, is a screenwriter, cinematographer, and director. Born in Linden, Guyana, he has called Jamaica home since 1992. Kaiel’s creative journey saw him spend a decade in technical theatre and live production before parlaying his theatrical design and technical skills into a focus on cinematography. Graduating from the Full Sail University Film Programme in 2013.

He has been heavily involved in the development of the local motion picture industry over the last decade. Over the years he was a founding member of the Jamaica Film and Television Association (JAFTA), and has been a technical lead and instructor with the UWI Community Film Programme which focuses on developing young film makers from inner city communities. Having directly trained over 250 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, Kaiel spends his time split between teaching and producing under his company Watooka Films. 

His current interest is around developing sustainable financing mechanisms for the creative

industries and creating enable policy environment for the growth of the industry.
